Just insert a picture....once picture is there, add text or whatever on top. If it gets behind the picture, just right click the picture, select order submenu and "send to back".

Format/background ....drop down the color menu, select fill effects, click picture tab, select picture.;)

i knew about 2wheeleds way.....didnt know about how king termite said to do it.
im usualy lazy so i just make the picture the same size as the slide and put all my stuff on top of it

Thats what i was going to do at first lol. But actually 2wheeled's idea worked very well for me also.
