So I bought a haro F4 back in march and so far, its been nothing but a pile of crap:

-I've bent the rear axle and now the cones are wearing out fast
-The handle bars always move, no matter how tight the stem may be
-one of the pedal inserts is partially stripped (how the hell did this happen?!), and causes the pedal to frequently become loose
-the back rim has decided to flat spot like mad, even though Im running a high psi and the spokes are nice and tight
and last of all, the damn BB continusly comes loose, along with the cranks!

I wasn't expecting this when I decided to spend $415 on a bmx bike that i thought was decent, so now I might be stuck with the bike because the shop I bought it from sucks at trying to warranty things. The worst part about this whole thing though, is that all Im doing it is street stuff (no jumping stairs or anything yet), just learning to hop higher and attempting 180's.

Wow that sucks, I would take it back and TELL them they have to sort it out. I still don't have a bike yet but the guys on here have recomended FIT bikes and DK but as i'm in the UK I can only find the FIT bikes and some hoffman. I can get a WTP - Darkeness or a Volume - Blacksheep but no-one seems to know what there like.

What made you by Harro?

The last bike I had didn't get trashed that easily and I 360'd it off a wall into a hedge when I was drunk... It was a.... get this... Raliegh (do you have them in the US?) frame with steel everythin soooo heavy but still fun the wheels always got destroyed even off big bunny hops.

I hope you get it sorted dude, dont let the b*rds grind you down!

My Haro stem sucked, then i got a S&M Redneck LT, its still on my bike 3 years later, and hasnt slipped once.

I also destroyed my 3 of my 4 Haros wheels that i have had with my 2 Haro completes...

Just save up and get new ones, and ride smoother, thats what i did.

Mines great, its just the parts arent the greatest, like the forks.

But my frame is great, i wouldnt be getting a new one except for i fell for the weight wennie train, and my Fit Flow will be lighter, and nicer...
