Got a Nashbar flyer in the mail today and lo and behold what do I see.. A "signature" Nashbar 853 hardtail frameset for $500. Whats the deal? anyone know whos making these? Anyone have one? Isn't 853 reserved for certain builders or something?

sorry if this is old news....

It looks like a nice frame, but it's not that cheap for a no-name .
