I looked at the posting title and that was fairly informative. Others may have other ideas though. If you've reached the bottom of the listing you may as well email him - it's a long way back up to the top.

Huh. Whoops. Sorry. Wow. Serious miscommunication on my part. Let me start again:

How reasonable do the royal "We" (as in you all out there) find the price?

My question was so obtuse that your answers confused me for several secs! Sorry about that.

seems like it's in nice condition. $120 would be a better price/good deal.

It didn't cost that much new...I'd say that it is within $100 of being right, which may be just right in NYC. The parts indicate a solid, middle of the road bike.

For NYC, the price is definitely right. $100 would be a very good deal. Usually, that gets you something (hopefully, but not surely CroMo) with aluminum wheels and in decent tune. Anything less than $100 means complete WalMart quality, or steel wheels.

It's funny, actually: after looking around and inquiring after others, it seems that there is no vintage bike-riders' club here in NYC, nor do there seem to be a lot of people interested in restoration/collection. I can only surmise that this is a direct result of not having enough room, but I have to say, I've managed to fit quite a bit into a very small space:).

I've revived the thread because the owner's dropped his price: $150.

here's the updated link: http://newyork.craigslist.org/lgi/bik/163744151.html

I doubt that he'll get that much on ebay (people will be factoring in shipping charges), but I'm curious if anyone knows anything about this particular model. Who made Windsors? Were they British?

Thanks for the input.
