Foo - Forum personalities?

Does anyone else ever notice the different ambience of the cycling related forums? I've noticed over the last few weeks that posting the same topic on different forums can yield significantly different results. Bikeforums.net is the forum I watch the most but sometimes I'll look at the other forums and it's interesting to see the difference.

Does anyone else notice this difference and if so, how do you account for the difference since I suspect that most of the people on this forum also participate in other forums? Multiple personalities?

Ambiance? Other forums?... Huh?

Well my inherent personality isn't different but how I express myself is. It relates more to the difference between eating a mcdonalds with friends, fine dining restaurant with inlaws or a party with strangers. Same personality, just varrying degrees of acceptable usage.

I used to troll super-conservative websites that advocate things like annexing Canada, taking back suffrage from women and Ted Nugent, but that got old real quick. Other forums kind of suck. Bikeforums has spoiled me.

I'm like the real me here, only bigger. Bike Forums always adds ten pounds....

I cut my forum teeth at Indianz.com* about 8 years ago.I kept a low profile there to avoid the mega-flame wars. BikeForums' got me whipped.:p

I'm really not as funny in person as I am on the forums. I guess Foo makes me that way.

I've also been 5'11'' for almost 3 years now.

Every forum has its own personality and "ambiance".....this one is just kind of pedal-oriented.
