Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I'd have to go w/ a custom made lugged steel frame from one of the SS/FG guys. Dunno which one though.

05-18-06, 08:05 PM
Heeeyyy... I was gonna say LowCel's Ellsworth Truth. Because I'd like to know what the Truth is....:)
But since you took that one, I'd say I'd like to ride Hambone40's Stumpy real hard. Because it's BEAUTIFUL! (And I heard it could handle it) :D

Hambone's so lucky if you wanna ride his stumpy. ;)
I wanna ride Merton's bike.
Oh wait, his bike don't work...D'OH!

I'd snag Fiddy Six's JOCP-mobile (unless he's just bluffing - in which case, I'd ride TheOtherGuy's nicest Masi).
<edit> - and why? I've never ridden a carbon fiber bike and I'd like to see how I like it. (I've heard lots of hype about old Masis, and I've never ridden one of them either.
See, I can follow directions. :D
Vinokurtov (not the real Vino... someone of that username) has a really nice climbing bike in my size. There's a bunch of other really nice climbing bikes that have been discussed in the road cycling forum, but offhand, this is the nicest one I know of that's the right size for me. Boy would I love to borrow that for a day to help me set a PR on Baldy. Of course, I'm a lot slower than him, so he'd have to change the gearing for me.

Any of Jakey's rides, cause they're all sweet sexy Italian beauties. And I know he treats them well.
I'd also love to ride Patriot's Trinity, just so I know what Love is.
Then there's any of 55/Rad's bikes, which I imagine all ride like butter.
I'd love to ride Khuon's bike, so I know what it's like to go to battle with a fully loaded camel and mobile sag wagon.
And I suppose I'd enjoy taking sincitycycler's bike out for a spin, just to know what it's like to be stared at not for looking good, but for looking strange ;)

I'd ride HipCyclist's bike to go Knave-hunting.

+1:D
Or one of the Road Forum folk's Madone SSLs, since I might buy a Madone later this year. But there are some sweet italian bikes on this forum too. Tough choice. I'll borrow one of the ladies bikes like Sui, Blondie's or Shadiyah's if they come with it!:p ;)
:D Thanks guys and gals! I appreciate the compliments. If any of you are in the neighborhood you are more than welcome to try any of them out.
I'm not sure who's bike I would borrow, have to think about that one a bit.

I want to ride Tomity's NJS. I have never see it (only his road bike) but I know it hauls arse. Unfortunately with me on it, it wouldn't.

There are so many nice rides on BF. That's one of the nice things about this place, the variety.:p

Yup, Ti Crown Jewel built up with Record. Wheels are either Spinergy Stealth PBO carbon's, am classic laced to RR1.1's built by Mike Garcia, or a PowerTap SL rear with an Open Pro rim. Just depends on my mood. :D

I've got a Schwinn Peleton, a Giant ATX 1200, a Klein Pulse Comp, a Nishiki touring bike with an 80cc motor, and a somewhat dorky 40's Columbia that is dressed up like Peter Fonda's Easy Riding Chopper. What more could I possibly want to ride?

What is wrong about wanting to ride his stumpy? Is it because I'd ride it hard? Okay, then maybe I should be gentle with it. (until nobody is lookin'!) :D

Where was your bike made? Looks like it's trying to jump the border fence with all of it's illegal friends.
jyossarian
05-21-06, 08:26 PM
That's actually the fence that leads to a bar on the other side. Maybe it's trying to get in w/o getting carded.
