I can't wait untill the Shimano xtx comes out! It is supposed to be Shimanos line for freeriding and DH. I wonder when they will release it?
I also can't wait for the santa cruz vpf, their freeride vpp bike!

I've heard the rumor as well, but haven't seen any substantial evidence thereof! I'm guessing it'll be XT or XTR level as far as shifting, but Deore or LX level in weight. IOW, an XT with some beefiness to it!

As far as the Vpf, from what I understand, you're gonna have to wait another year for production, and then another 6 mos. to get one if you order right away! Unless of course SC decides to speed up production!

I'll admit I'm very curious as to what all that stuff is gonna be. I'm sure with santa cruz it'll rock no matter what, they have come along way since the days of the super 8, and I'm very happy to see it. And shimano always suprises ya with some sweet stuff, so it'll be very interesting to see what it all looks like. :crash:

Anyone tried the new XTR shifters/levers yet?

I haven't, but doubt I'll switch to them. I'll stick to my pods and Hayes brakes!
