I heard rumors of a ourdoor velodrome a week ago but never belived it. Yesterday there was a blurb in the newspaper about it. Nothing is for sure and I'm sure it would take at LEAST a year to construct but it can't hurt to hope.

Does anyone have any information about a drome in Fresno CA? Come on now, get me worked up :)

I have heard a few rumors:

Possibly a track in central California (Sacramento area). I don't know much beyond a 'maybe this would be cool' or '[enter a name here] said they were looking into it' so don't get your hopes up!

Maybe a velodrome in downtown Reno. Open for betting, tight, fast and fun. This sounds actually plausible, I think the Casino owners would be happy with resultant gambling opportunities! And I know that real people are actually pursuing this.

I also vaguely recall hearing something about an East Bay velodrome as well....
