Don't do a great number of road rides on the Tandem. but this may be changed next year. Longest we have done is a 100km and we did this non stop in just under half of your saddle time. Remarkable ride in a good time- but how are the legs this morning?
Always the sign of a good ride if you have an excuse to put the feet up next day- so who's winning on that front too?
Well done on a ride that is a challenge, even to those that do it often.
Congrats on the extra-long double metric century!
Being in our 70s we no longer do the distance 'keep nose to the wheel' rides! However in our 31+ years of tandeming have ridden over a hundred centuries, quite a few double metrics, and a three-day 325 mile ride with 22,000 ft. of climbing that finished in Phoenix at 104 degrees (never rpeated that one!).
Jennifer's one heck of a good stoker; appreciate her!
the legs are sore as expected we will maybe head out tonight and limber them up a bit. the saddle sores healed after a night (oddly I had the worst one jennifer has been known to get them more often than I) we now know that any local (non climbing century) can be done with our skill that was our object of our particiption. yes we do need to work on our climbing and power outputs. ( too many times im getting a earfull when my hrm is in the red.)
