Well I've been reading the forums for a while, and I thought it was about time I registered and became an active member. I've been really impressed how feindly the people on these forums are.
I'll be 16 in about 3 weeks and I've been riding road and track competively for the past 2 years. I do a bit of mountian biking too, but not so much as I used to. I've sort of lost my confidence for the off-road stuff after some crashes.
Track is definilty my favourite sort of cycling, mainly sprints, but I've been riding everything from the 500m TT to the points race. I recently had a new track bike custom built by Reiker Cycles (http://www.reikercycles.co.nz) (how cool is it to have a LBS that builds frames)
I'm now pretty much addicted to the whole bike thing.
So anyway that's about all I can think of at the momment, f if you've got any questions just ask.

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
