My disc brakes on my Cannondale F900 were hanging up and not releasing - decided to have a look. Well, it appears that the bichos (Spanish for bugs) had done their dirty and so things weren't moving smoothly. I cleaned everything up and reattched them - everything is wonderful.

What amazes me is that after thousands of miles on the bike - the pads are still great. It feels like I might wear me out before them. ;)

When I used to work on cars, I would use anti-seize on anything like this - I didn't this time, but I wonder if anyone uses lube to keep the brakes parts moving well.

Just curious.
