Mountain Bike Racing - NORBA NMBS at Sugar Mtn NC house

Rented a house for this race & could use a few more folks to help defray the cost. The house is rented for 6/9 to 6/11, 146 Mossy Creek - walk to the start/finish lines. If you might be interested, please PM. Right now, it's looking like $50 per person for the weekend.

Just thought I'd mention some further info - so far, the house occupants are all XC racers - Pro, expert, and sport. We generally do group dinner (grilled salmon for Firday night), but breakfast & lunch are usually on your own, unless somebody else is hungry too. Lots of fruit, vegies & carbs on the menu. No smoking in the house, no drug use, no pets. Right now, it's a WV contingent, but, hey, we're friendly! Age mix now is me (50) to 14. A family of 4 would be great!

If I was traveling that far for a Nat, I'd see about throwing in with y'all. I'm housebroken and former condo-mates tell me I'm a model guest. Besides, sounds like you need a token DHer just to lend a little Bohemian flavor :) Good luck!

dminor - if you have a last minute brain fart & decide to travel east, I will galdly give up my bed for a last minute fellow race promoter - hey, I'm just watching, and the floor will do..... you will have to eat healthy, tho!

Hey, apclassic, it would not be truly Bohemian unless I got to occupy the chunk of floor :) I'm not sure I'd know what to do with myself if I wasn't sliding off my mat so my hip could go numb . . . or resting my noggin on a wadded-up sweatshirt because I forgot my pillow.

I'm all for that eating healthy stuff, though; I even wash and put away dishes all weekend long for those kind of priveledges!

BTW, I'll post up the complete report on yesterday's race tonight or tomorrow - - both from the co-promoter's and the competitor's perspective.

looking forward to that.... this place has a dishwasher AND a whirlpool tub! Isn't THAT worth the trip?
