Went for a ride with Allister in Brisbane about 18 months ago. Also met up with Cabledonut last year when he was visiting the Gold Coast. Haven't heard from either of them in a while.

met 1oldroadie at hotter n' hell last year,
A real gentleman if there ever was one.
I also rode with Tourist and his wife a few times
but haven't seen him in a while.
I'm betting I've seen Christine around town too.

I plan on, and expect to meet lots of other
Texas, Oklahoma, Nawlins and other close
riders at this years HHH and Ride for the Roses.
(not so small hint!)

Marty,
I'm sure not recently. :( I've been lucky to get out once a week and it's usually not in Frisco.

I met purple hayes shortly after he joined. His work is not far from mine. Visited him a few times during lunch and did a couple of rides with him.

I met PrimalQ last August and did a group ride with him. I was supposed to ride the Silver Comet Trail with him in early December but I got lost trying to find our meeting place  .

Some warm, sunny day I hope we can get an Atlanta-area BikeForums members group ride organized.
That would be a great picture to post here.

UncaStuart & I belong to the same bike club. I went on one of the rides he led back in the summer. He planned out a nice ride that took me to some local roads that I hadn't ridden before. He wore his Bike Forums jersey that day, too.

Not yet. But many riders from Seattle visit the shore and whistler all summer. I imagine I will meet a few in the future :)

I met Dale Young (Gus Riley) at RAGBRAI last year and rode with him a few times during the week (the rest of the time I shouted insults at him as I passed him). Gus posted a pic of us together in this forum in the thread he had started for RAGBRAI.

Allister still posts occasionally on the bike-qld and bike-oz lists. Maybe he just doesn't get the time to post here as well.

I have been on a couple weekend tours with BLWYN. That was neat.

I plan to meet Rainman this month too which will be really big since we have been communicating for a couple years.

both spire and wabbit are in my club. they're both fine cyclists and a pleasure to ride with. someday, spire will kill me in sprints. not yet, but someday...

on the other hand, we've pretty much decided that 2003 will be the "year of putting the hurt on spire." we let him sit in last year. not this year. :)

I met Tree Trunk at RAGBRAI and traded some insults with him as he passed me! Also during RAGBRAI I met Outashape and Puddle Jumper. Then during GRABAAWR I met BLWYN and his better-half. We just missed Nebill and a couple of others at RAGBRAI as well.

Nice picture Tree Trunk

I expect eventually to meet one or more of my fellow southern California members, and maybe even Denver Fox, who used to live in San Diego County. Unless it is pouring rain, I am generally out on Coast Highway 101 or in the Rancho Santa Fe / Del Dios Highway area just after daybreak on Sunday mornings.

I met Gus Riley at Ragbrai, looked for others and couldn't find them. I met and rode with Pabbrew on TRIRI. I met GABiker and Beowoulfe and Pabbrew on Cycle North Carolina. Hopefully, I catch up with bykemaster and CAAD5 on local rides this year.

Have not searched for others of us- when completed organized rides... Do most of us use the post ride function before going to a ride? We could be at a ride and not know it.. Wear those BF jersey's I guess !

CycleZealot, I post under Big Rides and then usually e-mail the individuals. I don't post a lot, but I read a lot, so it is such a neat feeling to run into people that you "know" but have never seen. On most organized rides, you see quite a few of the same people but you don't know them. So it is nice to talk to someone from BF when you run into them at a sag stop or eat dinner with them. It is really hard to find someone that rides at your same pace for the whole day. They are either faster, slower or conquer hills differently. I'm thinking of doing a week of training in Solvang, California with planetultra in March. It's too expensive to fly me and bike out there for a day or two day ride. Another ride I'm thinking of doing this year out your way is Pedal to the Peaks. I talked with you before. My daugher graduated from U of Mich in January and is currently in Australia for 5 weeks. She did accept a permanent job with Boeing at Seal Beach. When my husband and I go visit her this year, I'll e-mail you about riding.

I hooked up with A.Troll one Saturday night at a local bar. I still have a few of the bruises and a little of my dignity left.

She stopped returning my calls the very next day.

Oh well, better to have loved and lost.............

If she PM's you, don't pass it up.;)

That's not how I remember it, boyfriend. First you stuck me with the bar tab. Then you stole my bike. And then you refused to pay for the penicillin. But worst of all...

You didn't give me your number! :p

Wonder if John E has ever ate adjacent our group. Usually it is on Thursday's; but once in awhile on Saturday's- we have a late Breakfast at " A Little Bit Moore," in Encinitas.. Once in awhile another adjacent outdoor table will be filled with cyclists.. Never know, maybe group at next table frequents this web site?
