This weekend I warped my back rim on a backtrail x2. Now I obviously don't want to spend more on a new wheel than the whole bike cost me. Can anyone suggest a decent complete wheel that might be a bit stronger than the previous haro stock? Or perhaps I should just get a rim only and let my bikeshop put it together.
I might like the new one to be chrome because the stock rim did not work well for braking. But the chrome upgrade is not mandatory, mainly I just want something stronger.
Thanks

Dan's has a Mosh cassette laced to Sun Big City for $140. The Mosh cassette is functionally identical to the Odyssey Hazard and Premium cassettes, so you can swap out to a 1-piece driver for either of those if you wanted. I'd imagine the bearings in the Odyssey and Premium hubs are higher quality, and Premium uses a 4-pawl driver (which I believe actually does still fit in the 3-pawl hub). And Big City rims are decent doublewalls that won't break the bank.

Mosh and Odyssey cassettes are made in the same factory i beleive.
Just get an Odyssey Cassette, make sure you get the right size cog.

Good point.
I have the big old school front sprocket (44t?) so what would the back be? I can't count them right now, I'm hard at work in the office... heheh..
