I did retain the dodge part.... dodging cars now though. Never did like that game.

Seems like we found time for all the above, and biking, when I went to elementary school.

Since they still have recess and PE in school, why not add cycling to physical education aspect. Last time I checked, "dodge ball" was not something I retained to adulthood.

That is exactly how it is taught in the schools here. The LCI comes in and takes over the PE class for two weeks.

Never heard of anyone dieing due to not knowing how to play flag football.

Man,are you far removed from school. Dodge ball? Not even. Lunch time had no free recess, its organized and as it is the parents have so many reasons for there kid to do nothing. Asphalt is dirty,he gets out of breath,it hurts her feet. Bicycling is a law suit waiting to happen. Know how many bikes are in our racks, maybe 1-2 and i've never, ever seen more then 3,never and we have a few kids in our school. Do you really think they should be spending time at cycling in school when the avg is a grade and a half below there grade level at reading? 35% of our 4th graders are reading below 3rd grade. Cycling? Crap they cant read the street signs. Our furture is in deep sh$t. Go help out in a elem school and i dont mean in the nice part of town. Very sad and dont blame the teachers, they spend more time fighting with parents giving all the reasons why the kid doesnt have time to do homework at home.
