my handle bars on my bike are a bit wide is it worth taking an inch off each side.

If you want, but wider bars give you more stability, and i like them personaly, but go for it.
Just remember measure twice, cut once, haha.

i love shorter bars, my grips go down the bend so i have to have my dirty harry under the crossbar. its whatever floats your boat really

On my old bike the bars were really wide, then i traded it in for my new one, and it had really narrow bars. At first I hated it, it was harder to control over jumps and such, but now ive gotten used to it, and I cant ride a bike with wide bars.
