Nice flyer Kerry, sorry I won't be able to make it.

And Kevin, that footage of you is pretty hilarious. Its a good thing that you are such a good sport.

So guys, it's starting to get warmer already, which means that sprint club season is not too far away. We should get together sometime and work on some ideas for the new season.

MTV race.
Winner gets a $20 gift certificate to any area mall of their choosing.
Of course that might require a field trip to MTV.

Will be going whenever it opens for the season or whenever my schedule allows, whichever comes first. Bring a bike with tubies!

No, I jest. You just don't want to roll a clincher as that's bad juju for you and everyone behind you. They aren't strict about anything other than having no brakes and not skidding on the track.

Got it today, check this post: http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?p=3980370#post3980370 . The thing is HUGE and will not hesitate to swallow your Bagaboo!

You could fit three Lil' Jons in that thing! Jesus Christ.

My manager at Jimmy John's moved to the Oxford store, she is the one who hired me, so if you want a job, you could probably get one riding for them now.

SPRINT CLUB DETAILS:

Brent and I will both be riding the Ohio valley spring series every Sunday until April 29th, so here is a schedule for the beginning (a late one, I know) of our sprint club season.

First Race Day:
Sunday May 13th @ 1 pm.
5-25-28-07 Naccc
6-9-07 evil Alleycat
6-10 sprint club @ 1
6-24 sprint club @ 1

Basically, every other weekend from then on. If anyone wants to start earlier, feel free to do so, just know that I will most likely not be there. Also, I think that this year we should focus on doing a group ride after each event.

Also, the flyin pig says that if we change from "Queen City Sprint Club" to "Cincinnati Sprint Club", he will give us a page on his site.

What does everyone think?

The schedule sounds fine...good luck with the OVR races! I'm not really sure why we're going to do every other weekend. Is it because you don't think there'll be enough of a turnout every week?

Second, following the flying pig's logic, he should change his courier company's name to Cincinnati Courier because cutesy names are dumb. I think we should just take a vote next time we're together and figure out if we'd like to switch it up. With regards to the jerseys, I think I'm going to have the design added locally, as the P Cyclewear guy wants to alter the logo we have while charging us some bull**** "digitization" fee.

I feel like doing it every other weekend will make it a little more laid back. Last year, I was always kind of stressed out trying to get everyone together [I]every[I] Sunday. Also, since some of us are daapers, they will have more time to get work done on the weekends we don't race.

Vote sounds good.
do you know a local place to get jerseys made?

We are racing in Houston woods this Sunday at noon. You should come out and give us some support.

Hey guys,

I'm planning on heading up to Major Taylor Velodrome in Indianapolis on Thursdays from 7-9 pm from now through August if any of you are interested in track racing. Registration is $12 and there are a whole bunch of different races each night. It's advised that you complete a class on a Saturday or Sunday before racing and I'll list the schedule below. Let me know if anyone wants to get in on this...I'll have room for 2 others each week.

Had a good time, couldn't finish the race, did about 10-15 miles worth of riding. Not bad, only had the bike a week and horribly out of shape. Gots to get some better gearing, ****ing gears liked to murder me on the hills. I'll be at the next one.

Thanks to everyone who came out to the Evil Alleycat. I had a blast!

Dj, are you the guy who puked in Mount Adams? You are a f***ing trooper.

Useless, did you ever find a chainwhip? Sorry I didn't see this until now. Hopefully you got it figured out.

Yeah, I'm the one that puked, had to, made it easier to ride. I'll do better at the next one, gonna go for a ride today even though I'm sore as hell.
