Eastern sucks. My friends titanium cranks broke in a week. Get a fit or one of the new freebirds if you want a lightweight bike.

I wonder how many pairs of the Ti cranks he's broken so far?

CMcMahon

Better question: how many pairs have they actually sold? Even the biggest of BikeGuide's non-riding weight weenies probably couldn't justify the cost of those cranks.

fit is good, but IMO its expensive...specialized is good too but same thing (i think a little overpriced). Dont get Haro. Id suggest a Eastern or DK, but im cheap. Depends on how much you ride really.

The hefty prices will be worth it in the end.

Put as much money into your complete that you can when you are buying it. You get what you pay for. If you buy a bike with a 1piece crank, before the year is over, you will bend it and have to replace it, so your better off getting one from the get-go. That way your bike wont give you any troubles because its solid from the start.

Also the Fit complete has parts that most other completes dont, like a good stock brake lever(Odyssey Monolever) and good stock grips(Fit Keylogo), also it has an Odyssey tire up front, so it really is the best of both, you get a stock complete, but it has that "custom feel" and parts.

Yes, I definitely agree with Kinetik. I have a Fit Pro, and I love the feel of it. The bike is great. I have tried all of my friend's bikes, and they just do not have that feel (and they are significantly heavier if you are a weight weenie). For $340 (a relatively cheap complete), the Fit is your best bet.
