Ive got a Giant NRS frame (2002) that has developed vertical play in the rear triangle. The shock is set up properly but I still get a little movement. Could the bearings/bushings need replacement? Maybe the pivot link? Cant figure this one out, checked the tourqe on all the bolts, played with the shock, still have play. There seems to be no horizontal play at all. Thanks in advance.

it could be a lot of things...what it usually is, is the internal bushing for one of the rear shock eyelets. should cost you under $20 to have it replaced at a shop.

use your eye and look at the pivots while moving the bike. You'll see where the play is.
