I'm posting this here, since I know more members in FOO than any other thread.
Well... it finally happened. A lady driving her Chevy Tahoe cut me off/hit me and bounced me off of a parked car tonight after work. I stayed up and am unhurt other than a mild abrasion on my leg. And yes she had a cell phone in her hand when she said "Oopps, sorry about that." I was fine, and kept riding, but man was I pissed. Another foot and I would have been a pancake! She basically cut back to the right across two lanes (into the lane I was in) and tried to pull into a parking space at the very last second, cutting me off and squeezing me between her SUV and a parked car. I bounced of the SUV, then the parked car and stayed upright while yelling "Jesus Christ!!" and that made her stop or she would have kept going and squashed me. I am glad to be unhurt, and honestly I was just too stunned at the careless way she was driving to confront her. Someone in a car right behind me yelled at her telling her to watch where she was driving, so I clipped back in and finished my ride. It was un-nerving though.
