I have just decided to purchase a fluid trainer instead of rollers and would like some opinions and advice. I am thinking of the nashbar fluid trainer b/c it is fairly cheap..... is it an alright trainer or kinda crappy? I'm thinking $140 is about all I want to spend so... I might have to step to a magnetic one.... where are some good places to buy a trainer and who makes good ones basically? thanks

i have a minoura rim trainer. it is not too bad. the thing i like about it is that it doesn't wear your tire out. about holding its magnatism. i find that sometimes i will be training on it and the load decreases for about a minute and then increases. i dont know if it is a problem with all magnetic rim trainers or if there is only something wrong with mine.
