Hi folks,
Thanks in advance for your words of wisdom, sarcasm, & other posts. All are enjoyed equally.
My lady has a Trek 7200 (no giggles please she likes it.) whose crank is quite gone. I'm not sure what year it is. I suspect it's about 4 years old, so it's a shimano c201 riveted together crank, with whatever the stock BB is.
I need to replace it, all the LBS's are buried so I'm hoping somebody can tell me a bolt on replacement crank, or a reasonable (not horribly expensive, I have hopes of getting her on something different at some point) Crank, BB upgrade. Yes I'll spend the extra money if it's a good choice. Yup she likes the "Guard" that's on the 201 (come to think of it I get tired of marks on my leg too  ) So that would be prefered, but not vital. Any suggestions for putting a real fork on one of these as well? If I can't ween her off it, I can probaby get her off the unecessary suspension fork.
