I have found a deal on a set of hubs. 20mm through axle and a strong rear hub. I am just wondering if I can use this 20mm through axle on a 2002 z1 fr qr20? Do I need to do something to it or will it just work?

What kinda deal? I need another 20mm thru axle hub!!!!

BTW, I think the spacing (width) is different. I may be wrong here, but I believe the QR20 (Marzocchi) is wider than lets say my RS Psylo SL.
If someone knows for certain, please let Mael/us know!

Pretty sure the standard for 20mm is 110mm spacing, so it should just work.

I believe you will have to purchase an adaptor that slides through the hub so the qr works. The 2003 come stock with it.
Check with Marzocchi.

I have emailed MArzocchi so hopefully I will hear back soon.
And A2, I found a local online dealer selling a set of hubs with fully replaceable internals. Higher engagement system (similar to hope) for a decent price. I forget the brand but it was 300$ no tax for the set in cdn.
Either that or I will be getting 24bikes new hubs to play with them. A canadian company renowned for tough bikes and parts and they would be 300 for the pair as well.
Either one comes in most axle sizes except QR20 for front. Hopefully Marz will respond quickly and Klein is right :)

Hey did you ever get a response? Well anyways ya it will work. I just built up a dt hugi 20mm hub for a marzocchi. It works just fine. hope that helps. Just to verify....the DT hugi wasn't marz specific either.

I'm running a Profile Race 20 mm on my Psylo's, but I'm thinking of getting a Marz Z-1 QR20, and I'm assuming the hub is compatible.
I'd hate to get the new fork and not need my front hub!
BTW Mael, those prices, where they USD or CDN? I can get a Profile Hub for about $125 USD (front only!) Rear hub is about $275 USD.
Here's a pic of mine!

Here is the official response
Any 20 x 110mm DH hub will work in the QR20 forks with the use of the QR20
axle kit. You should be able to get that kit through your local bike
shop.
Take care,
Marzocchi USA tech dept.
Just received it. Must be busy :)
A2,
That is cdn. 300$ for the pair means around 200$ american for both front and rear. :)
