Does anyone here get brutally bad blisters? I ride for a few hours a day, and I get the worst blisters. I have the Edwin grips and they are really good and comftorable and all, but I still get horrible blisters, usually by the thumb area. Any old remedies you know of? Or should I just get gloves? If gloves, which gloves do you guys prefer? I was thinking about getting the Shadow Conspiracy gloves, but I was told that they do not last long.

I mean, my hands have gotten so bad to the point where I can not even put my hands on my grips. I actually have to stop riding for a few days because my hands are too blistered up to ride.

I get blisters becasue I just started riding but once I get calises I don't get them anymore. But gloves would help a little bit.

Hold your hand away from the part of the grip that flares out. When your hand rubs it causes the blister.

Yeah, my hand is nowhere near the flange. When I finally get some more money I think I'll buy some gloves. For right now, batting gloves from baseball aren't too bad.

some good gloves are the 661 Corey Nastazio gloves. They have me lasted fine (since christmas 05) and are really comfortable. you may still get blisters but they wont be as bad at all

Oh, okay. I don't believe I am going to England just to buy gloves from your local BMX store. I might just order the Shadow Conspiracy gloves off of Dans for $25- they don't look too bad.

lol i personally don't like the look of the shadow gloves. they look somewhat tacky but it's your choice
i have the shadow gloves
the letters on the knuckles peel off pretty easily as well as the little thingy on the fingertips
but there really good quality gloves. i've had them about a year and there in amazing condition

I have Edwin grips too, and I always ride without gloves. No problems with blisters yet, but I've been riding a bike more or less daily for almost 2 years so my hands are used to riding with no gloves. The only time I've gotten a blister lately is digging and using a wheelbarrow without gloves on.

Yeah, I don't know what it is. I like the feel of the Edwin grips, they are a lot better than the stock Fit grips, but they still mess up my hands. I spent all of today riding with batting gloves for baseball; I looked like a ******, but they worked.

Ive never been big on gloves, i really dont like the feel of them...(now i dont ride them anymore)
But when i got my shadow gloves they ripped all over, becuase i had to stretch them 'cause i got them in a medium and apparently i have large hands...
If you have blisters, try gettting better grips that are more comfortable.
Or just keep riding and they will become calusis(spelling?) and then they dont hurt.

That would suck. I dont usually get blisters, i just have giant calises on my hands.
