To celebrate Memorial Day, I rode my made-in-USA red-white-and-blue Schwinn mountain bike to the Oceanside Airport this morning. The weather was perfect, traffic was light, and even the joggers in the bike lane on Coast Highway 101 were polite and predictable.

I celebrated by riding my "made in the far east somewhere Ti road bike .... traffic was heavy at times light at other times weather was great (hot). This afternoon I'll ride my Made in Wisconsin recumbent .....
or my Itallian made CX bike. :D

I celebrated with a ride through Balboa Park and Banker's Hill, with temps in the low 70's it was the first ride in LONG time with just a tee shirt and shorts. Woohoo.
