I just recently bought a giant iguana with out disc brakes. I do not race yet but ride hard on the weekends. I was wondering which upgrade to make first. Upgrading my Rock Shock Pilot c 80 mm travel to a Bomber or to upgrade the brakes to disc brakes. Thanks for any input

Go with the fork upgrade! Unless you are doing huge DH runs to where you are heating up your brakes enough to burn yourself on the rim....V's work great! Most XC world cup racers run v's. Granted all the shimano sponsord guys will be running the new xtr discs because shimano says they have to. So ya go with the fork! :crash:

Oh also the marzocchi will give you a better/stiffer platform to mount the disc brake on when you do eventually get them. The pilot isn't the stiffest fork out there and may twist a little under the braking of a disk brake.

Ditto on the fork.

Wheels are always a good upgrade too.
