Forum Suggestions & User Assistance - Server problems?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Hello. I have noticed issues fairly consistently over the past few weeks -- just thought I'd write to and find out if there is anything we should be doing to assist. I have tried both IE6 and Firefox (primary) and have had issues with both. Generally, they time out. But, all too often, I end up with an attempted download of a PHP file (i.e. search.php or forumdisplay.php) when clicking on a link or searching. I am a computer/it guy so I've tried a few things, but still notice the problem is pretty prevalent. Thanks.

Yes -- it is still happening. clear my cache, etc. and it continues to happen about 50% of the time. It is constantly wanting to download the PHP files which serve no purpose.
Very frustrating!
Any info from the mods/web person is appreciated.

Roughly half the time, the site is unusable. I have written responses and clicked on the Submit Reply button, only to get an error page, and my post is gone. Back button does no good.
This is with IE and Firefox.

Start using opera. Going backwards and forwards do not clear forms.
