Saying Redline and Magna in the same sentence is a violation of the basic tenants of good taste. Other than that, your post gives nothing intelligent to respond to.

We were smoother back in the day. And with wheels that weighed 10 pounds each, no one worried about breaking frames.

Redline doesn't make mags. That looks like a Skyway Tuff II (or a close copy). That also doesn't look like a 1980 MXII Redline (although that is an MXII style front badge sticker). It looks like a Redline 500a from about 1985 or so. I'd say the black Tuff (if it is indeed an actual Skyway tuff), if it's relatively true and the coaster guts aren't blown out is worth maybe $25 to the right person (or $0 to most of the people on here). Try Ebay. The Redline, in that condition, is worth maybe $50 tops. That Magna isn't worth squat, except maybe a toss into a dumpster.

I guess the bigger question is why does this kid only take photos in the rain? All his stuff is wet and rusty.

Before i moved, and started to ride trails, i used to have my old Haro in my basement, since our shed had tiny holes, since it sucked. But now that we moved and have a garage, i keep it in there. Its even got heat, air conditioning, and tile flooring(it used to be a room before they put real garage doors on it...).
Its nice to have a warm and dry place to ride and work on your bike during the winter.

Im trying to convince my parents to let me build to small 2 or 3 foot quarters to put on the one side, its almost working. But i really want Matt Berringers garage.

Next year, I'll be building a proper workshop - woodwork on one side - welding gear on the other.

It hasnt rained much here (VA/MD/DC)
But i wish it would, our trails need some love, and they are soo dry, that you cant really make them look good becuase they crumble, so the rain will give us a day or two to fix 'em up and make them look good, and just all around better.

According to the news yesterday morning, we have the best schools, and best 'median income' or something like that, so i suppose were not bums...

I hate to say it - you win. How Burke rates (http://money.cnn.com/best/bplive/snapshots/27335.html)

And you can compare it to this:Where I used to live (http://money.cnn.com/best/bplive/snapshots/46178.html)

While the median income where you live is higher than Westlake Village, (that means half the working population makes more, the other half makes less) homes there are still 1/2 what they cost in California. While the wages in Utah are even lower, the homes cost about 1/2 of what you'd pay in Burke. Just as important, the pollution index and personal crime index are both below the average. That's good too.

Yeah, the house i live in is pretty small, but its alot of money, since were 'close to the city'.
But if you drive 30minutes our to like Woodbridge,VA where the Vans skatepark used to be, you can get HUGE houses for like the same price, but its far from even the grocery store...

Cleveland! We saw houses for $40K. And the neighborhood crack dealer delivers. :D

Pretty much the closer you are to the city (meaning good jobs) without actually being in the city, the more houses cost. I could have gotten a new home out in the middle of nowhere for the same price, but here we're close to everything. But most importantly, my bikes are all indoors right now.
