First off, I should ask if what I'm seeking is possible: I've got an aluminum frame which is structurally fine...except that the rear triangle's been squashed by a car. Essentially I'm wondering if it's possible to remove the old triangle and weld a new one?

Second, can anyone recommend someone in the Bay Area capable of performing such a fix?

Unless it's some sentimental frame or valuable retro frame you're better off throwing it in the recycling bin and starting again. You'll struggle to find a builder that wants the liability or hassle of repairing what is essentially a written off frame.

Capable of fixing? Yes. Wanting to fix? Unlikely.
