Does anybody know the levels/diffs for the Raleigh Technium range? I'm about to go pick up a Tech Pro with 105 & biopace ( I think 1988 ). I saw a Prestige with Suntour Cyclone on Ebay, but wasn't sure how that matched with the 105....

I believe you're talking about the Technium Tri-Lite series which went, top to bottom: Tinley, Prestige, Pro 105, Comp and Pre. 1988 would be correct. Assuming that both both bicycles are a proper fit and roughly equal in condition, I'd take the 105 bicycle, as SIS indexed better than Accushift and replacement parts are much easier to find.

Grazzi, T-Mar. I just got back with it. Glad to know it is a model up from the Prestige. This one is in good condition (with the exception of a loose headset), right in the size range I was looking for (ebay model was really too big), and cost me $50 (the prestige is currently at $127 with 3 days left). It's not the color I'd like - red/white/lite bloo accents, but ridding it of the bloo accent will help greatly. There's actually a really nice fade effect underneath...

So far, I'm happy. I'm finally in the 700C club!
