Hello all,

I'll be doing the Ventura Tri on June 25th. I thought about doing the Olympic but decided to do the Sprint after the difficulty I had with the ocean swim at the Encinitas Tri. I plan on working on my ocen swiiming more before the LA Tri in Sept.

Anyways, back to Ventura, anyone have any insights to the course? The website describes it as flat and fast. Pretty accurate?

Very similar to Strawberry Fields Sprint with warmer water temps. They have a killer Post Race BBQ thats free for the racers. Definetly a fun course. From what I remember from last year the bike is rather flat & fast. The run seemed longer than 10K since it was a course that had lots of turns. I wanted to race this one again this year but im off to IMCdA. Good luck.
