Is anyone doing PBP this year?

I rode a super randonneur series (200k, 300k, 400k, 600k) last year to see if I was up for qualifying and managed OK.

Now I have to do the same distances before May.
April is going to be fun - I'm running London marathon on 13th, then a 300k ride the following weekend and a 400k ride the weekend after that!!

PBP in August would be a great chance to meet Bike Forum guys from all over the world

Not this year...
Actually it is one of my cycling goals for "after my daughter goes to college". BMB might be fun too.
Let us know how it goes.

There are a few from our club planning on it. (My husband included) I'm looking into doing support for them. ANY info you have will be greatly appreciated!

The longest I have ever been on a bike was 7:32 straight (never got off the bike). Covered 162 miles across Indiana.

Body found places to hurt that I didn't know could hurt.

BMB was once a dream, now it looks like a death march.

Great respect from me to those who do it (and PBP).

My friend & I have decided to use a sports touring company - Baxter Travel (www.sportingtours.co.uk) because we don't want to worry about the logistics - travel, accomodation, parking support etc.

the audax uk site has some links to peoples stories of their PBP attempts, incuding some by US folk:

PBP ????????

Paris-Brest-Paris

It's kinda like "Ride the Rockies", except you have to qualify to get in, and it's run as a non-stop, professional event.
