Sup everyone, i was considering gettin a new bike for flat. I was curious if I could get some opinions on the general feel of the geometery from people who have rode one or the other, or both, thanks, brandon.

The Metric is more compact than the Pony, I believe, and more flatland-specific, while the Pony is going to be a little bit more versatile. If you can only afford one bike, I recommend staying away from pure flatland bikes unless you've been riding flat for a while and you're sure that's ALL you want to do. Ever. A flatland bike is a one-trick pony...compact geometry makes them VERY difficult to control at speed if you do any park or street riding. I ride a big flatland bike and a pretty twitchy park bike, and the difference between the two is still pretty drastic.

The metrics a great frame, but i would stay away from the pony. Alot of companies that make street and flatland bikes, never quite get the flatland bike part perfect. Stick to you Fly, KGB, KHE etc. type frames.

I ride a 2005 Khe Messerschmitt, I have a few pics of it on my myspace, in my signature. I now have some Ares 88 cranks, Unity deathstar sprocket and, a Bizhouse Dialyser Stem on it. It just sucks because today I messed up on a mega spin and went down hard on my peg. Now my pegs squared, and my back drop out looks like it got ran over by a car.. What bike you planing on getting, My friends ride a Haro M7, and a Khe Stylas.

i was lookin @ the metric or sinus. I want to get a complete and just be done w/ it. I was also checking out the OG complete on their site. Does your khe have that intergrated rotor headset? if so, how do you like it, any problems? Right now im still on my trek vert 1, but i cant wait to get a new bike.. If you have any tips or anything, let me know. my AIM is slmgringo, pz.

PS where did you get your bike from??

The Metric and Sinus are both great bikes, personally I like the geometry of the Sinus better though. I got my Khe Messerschmitt, off flatlandfuel.com. I got it as a complete bike too, since then though the only thing stock parts on it are the frame and hubs. The F-Set is great, Before I started running back breakless it eliminates alot of friction and slack from your brake pull, and you dont trip over break wires while your jumping around your bike.On the 2006 KHEs now there a little hole in the side of the head set that makes it easier to change out a broken cable. I say, get the Sinus. As you get better and better you`ll tune your set up more and more and upgrade more and more parts. The Sinus has a great frame which is very important. If you have any more questions just leave me a message.

yea i have another question, when flatlandfuel shipped your bike, how much did you have to put together?

When I got it, all I had to do was straiten up the stem, put the handle bars on, and then put on the pegs and wheels. Then of course the usauall fine tuning of the breaks, and titening of bolts. All the hard stuff was already done.

No problem, Brakes can be a lil tricky, but once you learn to tune them, you only have to do it every few months.
