Yes, a silent group of cyclists watching every last hearing does wonders for a conviction rate. He swerved into the cyclists, Yes? Why is he not up for a Homocide charge?

Regardless of the penalty handed down by the courts, if I were one of the cyclists, I'd be suing Mr. Martin for every single penny he's worth.

I'm, not a lawyer, but IIRC under Canada's criminal code you can only be charge with homicide if the Crown can show you did kill and did so with intent. This crime did not result in deaths.
