Triguy

Well my LBS only carries one series of saddles and a few random tri saddles, so I had to go out on my own in search of a new saddle. Well I started with the top tri stores, got to a well respected tri shops website. Call them up and ask about the one concern I had about the SLK.
Whats the first thing they do... You should try _____ saddle. The saddles are damn near the same but one costs $100 more and weighs 40 grams less. I asked why, and all he could tell me is "it's way better", I explain that the saddle he is recomending is wider(which I don't want cause I'm just a little guy) and that the saddle I'm looking at has gotten great reviews on relieving numbness(my problem). He replies "well this other one is still way better".
I know triathletes love gear but I don't always want "the best", especially since there is no best with a saddle. It's individual and the saddle I picked out answers my needs as best I can tell, so they might as well help me with my choice as best they can.
