Does anyone know about what type of grease should be used with Shimano SIS SP41 Casements? I read somewhere that a silicone grease should be used, but I've never seen this type of grease for sale. Do the SP41 casements come pre-greased when you buy them?
I've never bothered greasing cables before when I changed cables or casements because it could attract dirt, but then I've never had the SP41 4mm casements before either.

Don't use grease. It is too heavy and will attract dirt. If you must lube them, use a very light oil on the inner wire. The "casements" (we call them "cable housings") are lined with a teflon film which provides all the lubricating properties they need.

Some references by Shimano to the silicone grease in these SP41 cable housings:

For these cables the grease is already applied by Shimano so you don't need to add anything else.
