Can anybody provide ideas of how to make this look pretty again?. Unfortunately a smaller rider munched this one up pretty good! Also any ideas about this black anodized Campy record gruppo? Ever seen one before.

I've heard that Campy didn't do any colored annodizing of their own parts, but plenty was done either on the shop level or by importers. Maybe Gipiemme did some on the parts they made under contract for Campy in Italy. There are home annodizing kits as well as some directions for making your own with a couple buckets and a 12 volt battery (be sure to were eye protection and gloves) that you can probably find by searching these archives or Googling. You prolly have to remove old annodizing (lye, again use eye shields and gloves) as well as the paint. Then smooth out the scratches, polish and re-annodize...fill the panto in with One Shot signpainter's paint. A lot of work, but do-able.

Thanks for the info. That sounds like a lot of work though with some nasty stuff. Does anybody have any ideas about some paint to use that could look like the anodizing?
