Do you know if the Snafu Concave Pedals - 1/2 Inch will fit an On-ne ******* 3peice steel crank?
Generally if you dont kow about the pedals then do you know if 1/2 inch is the standard for pedals, cos thats what my crank takes? Obviously then il kow if i can fit em or not.
Thanks

1/2 inch is pretty much THE standard on 3 pc cranks these days. There are also 9/16 inch, but you seldom if ever see them on new stuff.

I agree with Pokey on this one. 1/2" is for 1 piece cranks, 9/16" for three piece cranks.

Walt is right. 1/2" is usually only found on 1 piece cranks. Every three piece crank upgrade I have ever done has required a new set of pedals in the 9/16" variety.

Most every current ATB and MTB made with the exception of some dept store rigs use 9 1/16" pedals. Bikes that use 1/2" are typically BMX also they are not just found on one oiece cranks. I jut bolted up a set of Profile Race 3 piece cranks that uses 1/2" pedals. There are alot of BMS specific 3 piece cranks that use 1/2" pedals.

Hi PP, any idea why BMX would go 1/2" pedals?
Axle spindle breaks were common in early BMX days and I don't know of any clipless pedals available in 1/2" which would mean you're crippled in the Nationals.
I'm not saying you're wrong, just looking for rationale and it sounds like you're up on the information.
Thanks.
