I read in the Adventure Cyclist about Breezer bikes and then went to the Breezer bikes (http://www.breezerbikes.com) web site.
Does anyone have any knowledge or opinions about these bikes?
What is the price range for a typical model?
How’s their reputation?
How’s their quality?

I seen the "UPTOWN" U-Frame commuter at the bike show in New York City a while back. They looked like good bikes and where not the $99.00 dollar Kmart specials.

If I needed a good commuter, these bikes would certainly fit the bill. If I didn't have my Bianchi Milano, I would get the "UPTOWN" model even though it's a step-though.

These commutting bikes are almost complete as far as I'm concerned. The only thing they are missing are dynamo lights for the front and rear. I would still buy one since where are you going to find commuter with fenders, chain guard, rack and Nexus hub gear?

What in the heck happened to Breezer! Do they no longer make Lightnings and such?

Joe Breeze and I are business partners in the new bicycle transportation company that produces Breezers.

The Uptown model DOES have a Shimano Dyno hub for a front hub.:) :)

This posting is a clarifiication not a solicitation.

The Town models of Breezers come in Diamond frames and step through U frames.
