I am just getting into biking and running after not doing either for a few years. I'm not sure if I'll ever race seriously but I love running, biking, and swimming and would like to work on improving all three just for the fun of it. I'm living in the desert at the moment and pools are tough on my skin so I won't be swimming for another 6 months to a year. Eventually, I'm hoping to swim and surf regularly in the ocean.

This is what I want in a watch:
under or around $50
ability to sound alarm at a specified interval repeatedly
alarm clock loud and long enough to wake me up (meaning loud)
lightweight and thin - I'm male but I have small wrists and I'm not used to wearing a watch

I'm not in an area where it is easy to shop for things like this so I'm hoping to get enough advice to go with an internet order. I'm also wondering if there are any features that I might be overlooking and if my price point is reasonable for something built with good quality. Thanks.
