I rode on a road once that seemed like it had been napalm shat on. A fertilizer truck didn't close the valve enough and liquid shiite muslim sprayed all over the road for 15 miles. Cleaning the bike was a treat.

Me and a buddy were out riding one day when we rode by a dairy. They where irrigating a field and since the wind was blowing there was a fine mist blowing across the road. we were looking forward to riding through it, as it was a very hot day, untill at the last minute we realized the water was a nice shade of brown. They were irrigating with liquid cow poop. We emerged with a fine coating of stinky water that covered us, our bikes, water bottles everything. The bad thing was we had about 30 miles to go befor we could get home. Nice:o

I live in Tallahasse which is the capital of Florida. A few years ago we passed a feed lot on a bike ride. The smell of manure was pretty strong. One of my friends sniffed the air and asked, "Is the Legislature back in town already?"
