Foo - Happpy Birthday Msngr

On this day of the devil and nation slayer day, many, many, and many years ago, msngr was born. Our favorite gramps managed to get even older and survives another year of new york msngrin'. I'd like to take this opportunity to wish 'B' a happy getting old day and let him know that we all *heart* him despite his tendency to get drunk and hurt himself when we're not looking.

Me and some others are thinking of getting together today after work, around 6 or 6:30 at Lakeside lounge and buy msngr a few cold ones.

I surprised him by coming out here. Told him he was getting a "package" which would be delivered to him by knifefight. I got into Penn Station, walked a few blocks to meet up with knifefight who was having some tandem technical difficulties. On my way got a call ... the tandem was up and running. Saw knifefight 2 blks later was beckoned to "get on fast" and was off to try to intercept msngr. Alas, my stoking and his steering abilities could not overcome the 15 blk difference fast enough and msngr evaded us. Pfft. So off to The Omen I went with the Trackstar crew.

30 minutes into the movie I get a call from Steve The Greek (the boss) saying msngr was done for the day and he was calling him back to the office (the original plan was for dan and i then to ride up on the tandem). I told him to abort that and send msngr up to pick up the "package" at 19th and Broadway. I grabbed my stuff, ditched the movie (sorry guys, I owe someone for the ticket) and went outside. Msngr appeared saw me, did a double take msngr style and the rest is history.
