Man you brits are lucky. I finally got to read this mag (found 1 copy in a store that just happened to be a fluke) and I am amazed at how pathetic our mags over here are in comparison. They lack substance when compared to NA's mag. In this one issue it had everything I could ask for

1 - product reviews (whooptie do everyone does this)
2 - interviews and expose
3 - Tech tips. Not one but many and many. This is the best mag for this that I have found
4 - riding tips for various areas (I love sections like this. I don't know why but if I read details as to how something works I get it first try)
5 - more great expose's
6 - trail reviews
7 - independant company reviews (Small companies getting exposure)
8 - more than 50% of the mag is actual mag and not ads (I understand the need for ads but over 50% and you are pushing it)
9 - no MX stuff
10 - TRIALS, XC, DH, Freeriding. jib. All off road riding need apply. This covers it all not just xc or just dh or just freeriding.
11 - lifestyle stuff and not in a pompous way

All in all this is my dream mag. This is now my favorite mag and will do anything in my power to get this mag full time.

10/10 and cheers to the brits. They own all other mags. :)

Only downfall is Peat. He is a great rider but there were 4 articles on him or relating to him. But I guess whe Flow goes full production Wade Simmons will be a staple so I won't complain ;)

Can you tell us what this mag is?

I know what you mean. Once in a while, I'll actually buy a bike mag for one article. If I find 2 articles worthy, I consider myself lucky. I'm sick of looking through the US bike mags and seeing nothing but advertisements for bikes and accessories.

I did come across an issue of Dirtrag. I do like that mag. Other than that, the rest are worthy only of toilet paper:eek:

Mael- believe it or not, just today someone handed me a mag that I had never seen. I looked it over for a few minutes and started to notice that there was some very strange lingo in it. Turns out it was also published in the UK. The name is "Mountain Bike Rider". It's very good, much better than most of what we have over here. Lot's of ads like ours, but still good articles and several good picture sections. BTW- does anybody know what a dosh or a lollie is?
