These guys took 101 2-liter bottles of Diet Coke, 523 Mentos and did something weird.

A bit bored, bbattle? Try the following if you've never done it before.

Take a 2 mL rubber pipette bulb. Stick in on a faucet with one of those adapters on the end that allows you to stick tubing on. Turn the faucet on at a very slow drip. Observe. Not nearly as amusing, but not nearly as messy, either.

Try this: take some dry ice and put it into a latex lab glove. Tie the glove in a knot, leave in the stairwell. Several minutes later, KaBoom!

I've tried. Repeatedly. I seem to be unable to get it sufficiently leak-proof for this to happen. :( That said, the results (unexploded) make nice decorations around Thanksgiving.

I can think of about a million ways to make explosives with dry ice, liquid nitrogen, acid, and ball bearings from my days at the lab.... but I don't know what was in THIS bottle of soda..

I heard that Alka Seltzer and greedy seagulls can make for an interesting combination. (I couldn't bring myself to perform the experiment)

I know someone that did that when he was a kid. Very sickening, as he recounted it without a trace of remorse. :(

i heard that you can put it on a fishing hook with fishing line so after it eats the alka seltzer you can fly it like a kite until it blows up. i think you have to really hate sky rat... i mean segals to do something like that though.
