I'm rebuilding a Trek 930. I pulled out the bb and it's an LP27, 73mm shell, and when I measure the spindle- with a pair of accurate calipers- the length comes out to 114mm. Looking for bb's I see 113 and 115 are standard lengths, but not 114. I'm guessing the 114mm spindle I have is considered 113mm or 115mm for some reason, but I don't know which. Now, on one side of the spindle there's a metal ring that goes around it that says LL113. Can I assume that means 113mm spindle?

Regardless, either should work fine.

If you err on the longoer side you can also slap in a few of the supplied spacers. A few mm either way isn't a lot.
