Slope Civic Council and Visual Resistance, along with members of Elizabeth's
family and elected officials invite bike commuters and Brooklynites to honor Liz
and announce bicycle improvements planned for 5th Avenue.
After the memorial, all are invited to ride to DOT headquarters in Manhattan (40
Worth Street) and deliver flowers and requests for safe streets for bike riding
in Brooklyn and stronger street designs to protect cyclists. T.A. will provide
postcards to the DOT for cyclists.
When: Friday, June 9th, 8:00 am
Where: In front of 79 Fifth Avenue, at the corner of Prospect Place, Park Slope,
Brooklyn.
