Hi Everyone,
A friend of mine told me about this side. So here I am.
I live in the Sierra Nevada Mtns (CA/NV). I love mtn biking. However two years ago I started to road bike. I did a couple of century rides and loved it. So now I am torn. What to do on my days off. So little time so much to do. I also teach group fitness from spinning to group strength training. As far as my name "Wisi" just a nickname from way back when. (I am female/42y - just in case you were wondering)

Hi,

My wife may get to ride in Lake Tahoe this week. We live in NC, but my Christmas present to her was plane ticket to CA to see a friend from high school. She went to school in Europe because her dad was in the Army. There's not much chance of having a reunion in Frankfurt.

Anyway, one of their side trips is to Tahoe. I hope she visits an LBS. I want either a jersey, hat, tshirt, or water bottle...

How strange....a plane ticket to Europe might have been cheaper than across the US these times. I am from Germany myself. I hope she gets to visit Tahoe. Tell her to bring her ski clothes!
As for a jersey...we got some awesome Tahoe Jersey's!

I've visited many times and love the place.

You know a place is nice if someone from so cal is envious.

Thanks for the invite. I'll see if my parole officer will let me go.;)

It's on my top ten list of places to see (Tahoe). Just think- you could mountain bike in the morning, wakeboard in the evening, ski in the winter. If they only had enough oxygen up there, it would be perfect. Some people just have it too good... ;)

My mom-in-law now lives in Carson City, but we'd never been to see her out there until last year's Tahoe Century (I did the Team-in-Training thing). Now I know what she was talking about. Stunning views. Luckily, I saw Heavenly before the fire. Cryin' shame, that.
