Track Cycling - Do these pista's make good begginer Bike's??

Sorry if this has been asked 100x before but i only have access to a computer at work for 5 min at a time so i cant search i have found this one here on e-bay and was wondering if its a good "Track" frame ??

Pistas make good beginner bikes. The frames are ok and so are the components. As with all bikes, ensure you get one that fits you and you are comfortable on.

However for track, you will need to change the stock gearing to one suitable for your local velodrome as well as the tires (although you can wait for this but it depends on the surface. I wouldn't use 'em on a wood drome for example). Theres a quite a few Bianchi Pista related threads here (all of which can be found using the search feature). For example:

Not wishing to sound like a stuck record, but if you're a total newbie looking to get into track racing, check to see if your local Velodrome has rental bikes. That way you can try the sport out, get some knowledge about what you like or don't like and get the right bike for you.

The pistas are nice, unfortunately though for track the bolt pattern on the cranks dosent match up with the standard 144 bolt sizing that you need to have if your changing gears for racing. If you get it, I would recommend finding a new set of cranks so you can change your gears out.
