Rode for the first time in a week today--bike had been in the shop, weather had been bad. About a mile into the ride I realized I had forgotten to bring my pump. You know what comes next: happens every time--a flat. Luckily, this flat happened near the end of my ride, about a mile from home, and as I was standing on the side of the road squeezing my flat rear tire, a guy stopped and asked if I needed help. He was turning into his driveway at the time, and he had a floor pump in his house. Instead of patching the tube, I just pumped up the tire and headed home. was within two blocks before the tire went flat again. Last time I forgot a pump I had a flat. There must be coorelation between flat tires and no pumps.
Its Murphy's Law in action. You have to be prepared! :P :D
