I'm not sure if this has been posted before, but I just found this video of cycling and pedestrian friendly cities. If only we could reach this point in the United States....

It was just in La Nacion down here that out toward Liberia they are adding a bike lane because the Pan American highway is too dangerous for cyclist (I am sure you all would laugh at the so called danger)

Because most people can not afford a vehicle - the feeling is that the roads should be able to support bike traffic.

Thanks for this. Following observations:
1) Seems like urban traffic control/design is more advanced in Colombia than in the US.
2) Notice that very few of the European cyclists wore helmets.
3) Maybe it's time for me to move. I could open a helmet store in Copehhagen or Amsterdam.:)
4) Maybe this is the future. Sounds good to me.
